About this tool

This tool combines several PDF files into one document, keeping every page and adding the files in the order you arrange them. Upload two or more PDFs, put them in the sequence you want, and download a single merged file.

Merging comes up constantly once paperwork is involved. Scanned pages often arrive as separate files that belong together; a report might be assembled from a cover sheet, a body and an appendix produced separately; and applications frequently ask you to submit one combined PDF rather than a scattering of attachments. Stitching these into a single file makes them easier to send, print, archive and read in the right order.

Order is the thing people care about most, which is why you can see and arrange your files before merging rather than hoping the tool guesses correctly. Each source PDF's pages are copied in as-is, so the fonts, images and layout of every document are preserved exactly in the merged result.

The merge runs on the server and the combined file is streamed back to you for download. Your uploads are processed in memory to build the result and are not stored afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

In what order are the files combined?
In the order you arrange them before merging, from top to bottom. The first file's pages come first, then the next, and so on, so you control exactly how the final document reads.
Will the formatting of each PDF be preserved?
Yes. Pages are copied without re-rendering, so fonts, images and layout in every source file appear unchanged in the merged document.
How many PDFs can I merge?
You can combine several at once. The practical limit is the total upload size rather than a fixed number of files.
Can I merge just some pages from a file?
This tool merges whole documents. To combine only certain pages, split those pages out first and then merge the pieces you want.
Are my files kept on the server?
No. Uploads are held in memory only long enough to produce the merged file and are not saved afterwards.
