Will the formatting of each PDF be preserved?

Yes. Pages are copied without re-rendering, so fonts, images and layout in every source file appear unchanged in the merged document.

How many PDFs can I merge?

You can combine several at once. The practical limit is the total upload size rather than a fixed number of files.

Can I merge just some pages from a file?

This tool merges whole documents. To combine only certain pages, split those pages out first and then merge the pieces you want.

Are my files kept on the server?

No. Uploads are held in memory only long enough to produce the merged file and are not saved afterwards.
